FENAC (Brazil’s national federation of culture) is building a new 7,000 square metre two-part pavilion on its exhibition grounds in Novo Hamburgo. The exhibition grounds are the venue for the FIMEC international leather and footwear technology fair, and Courovisao, the winter leather, footwear, garment and leathergoods pre-selection show.

The extension involves an investment of nearly $1.4 million and when complete will increase the size of the site to 35,000 square metres, 22,500 square metres of which will be exhibition space. The new pavilion should be ready on time for the next edition of FENAC, which will be held from June 18-21, 2002.
