International Leathers joins with Betty Jackson to develop new leathers

15/03/2002

A collaboration between International Leathers, based in Northern Ireland, and leading UK fashion designer Betty Jackson of London, to develop innovative articles based on Irish Buck lamb suede has been hailed a great success by the two companies.

International Leathers is one of the largest producers of fine quality clothing leather in the UK, all sourced from UK domestic lambskins. For the fashion collection the company developed a new finish on the nubuck side, allowing for use in unlined garments, and also produced a fashionable new Blood Orange colour. Both innovations will be presented by International Leathers at this year’s APLF, held in Hong Kong from April 8-12, 2002.
