Tanbridge reports losses for fourth quarter and full year
The Tanbridge Corporation has announced a fall in sales for the fourth quarter and full year for 2001. Fourth quarter sales were down over $5 million to $16.7 million compared with $21.7 million for the same period in 2000. The drop in revenues meant that the company made a loss for the quarter of $1.96 million compared with a small profit of $40,630 in 2000.
Canada’s largest leather producer said that sales for the full year were $70.35 million, down from $90.5 million in 2000. Loss for the year was $5.8 million compared to a profit of $1.9 million in 2000. Tanbridge has plants in Winnipeg and Pennsylvania, as well as a freeze-dry processor of food and other biological products, with plants located in Ontario and New York.
