Experts prepare for Asia Pacific conference
SATRA experts are preparing to discuss key aspects of footwear manufacture with delegates at an international conference in April.
The test and research centre is hosting the ‘Towards a Better Shoe’ conference to coincide with the start of the Asia-Pacific Leather Fair in Hong Kong on April 8. SATRA has also lined up international experts to add to the weight of expertise on offer.
They include Jim Musial, vice president of global quality assurance at Wolverine World Wide; John Traynor, technical director, Asia Pacific for Coats Barbour Threads; George Thomas, business manager of Stahl Dressings (Asia Pacific region); Mike Redwood, leather research and development manager at Ecco; Michael Lin, marketing executive at Pou Chen and Robert Cheung of the Hong Kong Standards and Testing Centre.
