Some of Wenzhous largest footwear firms have gained a foothold in South Korea with the acquisition of space in Seoul’s South Gate Market, accounting for around 20 booths, according to newspaper reports.

The South Gate Market is one of the key points for commodity distribution in Seoul, Korea, and will become increasingly important with the World Cup just a few months away.

The Wenzhou Trading Promotion Association, with the help of the Korean Trading Embassy, successfully laid the groundwork for the entry of Chinese companies to South Gate Market, where three million people flow daily.
