Thai tanners benefit from TTIA training

More than 40 tanners, including eight women, recently attended a two-week leather finishing course in Bangkok, organised by the Thai Tanning Industry Association (TTIA) in conjunction with Stahl. The course is part of an effort by the TTIA to offer training for the whole of the tannery process – from beamhouse to finishing.
The TTIA used Stahl’s facilities at its Bangkok applications laboratory to teach the practical side, while the theoretical part of the course was run from offices at the TTIA.
