Jim Sajdak, chairman of the US National Shoe Retailers Association (NSRA) and the Associations Service Corporation (ASC), announced that Howard Kerstine has been named president of the NSRA, succeeding Bill Boettge.

Boettge will remain with NSRA as director of special projects and will also continue as president of PFA and the Board for Certification of Pedorthics (BCP). Phyllis Endrich continues as NSRA's vice president.

The ASC is an association management firm that oversees the NSRA, the Pedorthic Footwear Association (PFA), the Pedorthic Footwear Foundation (PFA), and When the Shoe Fits (WSF), all based in Columbia, Georgia.
