Malaysian leather goods and clothes retailer Bonia Corporation Bhd is to move ahead with the acquisition of Dominium Directions for RM11.6 million. The decision was approved by shareholders and the deal should be finished by the end of February.

The acquisition will add to Bonia’s rights to international brands and the company has said it is actively looking for more. Bonia exports around 10% of its products to Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Indonesia and Taiwan and is considering setting up a factory in China to reduce costs.
