Testing and research organisation SATRA is increasing its number of written test procedures to cover non-footwear areas such as furniture and leathergoods. The UK-based company has long provided such methods for testing footwear and footwear materials, including correct procedures for physical tests, chemical tests, durability tests, washability tests etc.

Laboratories accredited by SATRA will be able to use the procedures and have access to information about national and international standards to help ensure that products are given the appropriate tests.
