The US teen footwear retailer Vans has announced the appointment of Robert L. Nagel to the position of Senior Vice President of Sales and Apparel. In his new position, Mr. Nagel will be responsible for Vans' worldwide sales and apparel business.

Nagel has more than 25 years of experience in the footwear industry, having most recently served as director of sales and marketing for adidas America, Inc., where he was responsible for overall sales, marketing and product development for the U.S. division. Nagel joined adidas from Nike, where he was responsible for managing approximately $500 million in footwear and apparel sales.
