Lithuania: industrial sales of leather up 40.3% in December

Industrial sales in Lithuania during the twelve months of 2001 rose 7.6% according to a statement from the country’s statistics office on Monday, January 21, 2002.
The figures for December show leather performing particularly well – up 40.3% compared with November. Other big risers were sales of chemical products, which increased by 31%, TV, radio and communications equipment (5.7%) and machinery and equipment (4.3%).
