TFL forecasts colours for autumn/winter 2003/2004

21/01/2002

Leather chemicals producer TFL has produced its latest report on fashion colours for leather for the autumn/winter season 2003/2004. The report is produced twice a year and is designed to help leather manufacturers to predict the colours that are likely to be in demand in the future.

The colour preferences are divided into three different categories: elegant, classic and sport. Elegant shades are forecast to be "Pharmaceutical, cyanotic, light colours broken up by lead-grey". Classic colours are seen as "yellow ochre and cognac with a hint of brick red", while sports colours are expected to be "bright tones of green and red combined with beige and purple."

The report was conducted in association with Italian designers Carmen Rimoldi and Sergio Belloni.
