Satra invests in conditioning chambers

Testing and research organisation Satra has invested £100,000 ($144,000) in two new conditioning chambers that will allow footwear to be tested in extreme conditions, from arctic to tropical.

The new facilities mean that footwear can be tested to see how they withstand prolonged exposure to temperatures similar to those thousands of miles away from Satra’s UK headquarters. The chambers also allow Satra to carry out conductive, insulating and anti-static testing.
