Jierda Shoes Industry is one of the companies likely to profit from the China’s entry to the World Trade Organisation (WTO). The company is already well known in the footwear capital of China, and has now announced its intention to export to Europe while importing from Europe more advanced manufacturing technology.

Unofficially crowned "King of Shoes" by the China Leather Industry Association, Jierda specialises in producing various kinds of branded leather shoes and leathers goods. The company employs over 2,000 and produces 3.5 million pairs of shoes each year. 

Meanwhile, in the other direction, several famous Italian and Spanish brands are expected to achieve more of a share of China’s domestic market at the expense of local brands.
