Pirmasens Messe has announced that due to a poor response from exhibitors the January 2002 Fashion Day event has been cancelled. It was revealed that only 20 potential exhibitors showed an interest in the event. The organisers blamed the general crises in the shoe sector for the low interest and said they had no choice but to cancel the fair.
