CMP Asia, organiser of Asia Pacific Leather Fair, has won the HKTDC Services Award for Export Marketing, part of the 2001 Hong Kong Awards for Services. The award was presented to Peter Sutton, president and chief executive of CMP Asia on December 10, 2001. CMP Asia is the first trade fair organiser in Hong Kong to win the award.

The awards are designed to increase public awareness of the importance of services exports to Hong Kong's economy. The Asia Pacific Leather Fair is the world's largest international trade fair for the leather industry and is held in Hong Kong twice a year.
