Chairman of Clariant Dr Rolf Schweizer is to step down from his position at the next annual general meeting (AGM) in 2002. He has named his successor as Robert Raeber, previously a member of the executive board at Nestle.

The AGM in 2002 will also see Markus Kundig retiring as vice chairman of the Clariant board of directors. He had been with the company since it was founded. Heinnrich Bossard, CEO and chairman of Bossard AG of Zug is also to be proposed as a new member.
