The Irish cattle hide and lambskin tanner, Ronan Group, has appointed Robert E. Dickinson as general manager.

A third-generation tanner and graduate of the National Leathersellers College in London, Dickinson brings over 25 years’ high-level experience in the leather trade to the company, having served as a main board member of the Scottish Tanning Industries group and as managing director of the Scottish tannery, W J & W Lang. He is also the immediate past president of the UK leather trade representative body, British Leather Confederation (BLC).

Based in Clonmel, County Tipperary, the Ronan Group was established in 1950 by the Ronan family and exports 100% of its production to 25 countries worldwide.
