SATRA claims it has managed cut the time required to process test results to three days with a new service called FasTest. The FasTest system uses new developments that allow for the rapid conditioning of materials prior to testing and communicates the findings to the customer via email.

Steve Rose, head of testing at SATRA’s materials and products evaluation centre, said: "We have, we believe, the only system of its type that emails direct to the member"
