`Buyers` Project` to be repeated in 2002
The successful ‘Buyers' Project’ trade fair incorporated into this year’s FIMEC (international leather and footwear technology fair, Novo Hamburgo, Brazil) is to be repeated in 2002. The event was designed to create new business by bringing Brazilian exporters and international importers together.
The idea was put together by the Brazilian Association of Manufacturers of Leather and Shoe Components (Assintecal), and CICB (the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry), in partnership with FENAC (Brazil’s national federation for culture).
Over seventy Brazilian manufacturers and eighty importers from a number of countries came last time, and it is hoped that even more take part at the second event which will take place in Brazil from April 20-23 next year.
