US accessories company Coach Inc. has announced the appointment of Sally Frame Kasaks as a new member of the board of directors. Ms Kasaks was marketing and retail consultant for ISTA Incorporated, and before that was chairman and chief executive at Ann Taylor Stores Inc.

Lew Frankfurt, chief executive and chairman at Coach said of the appointment: "we are confident that her extensive experience, strategic insight and leadership in the retail industry will prove particularly valuable to us."
