Brazil’s CTCCA (Technology Centre for the Leather, Footwear and Allied Trades) received a visit from SATRA's technical consultant, Graham Rowley, in early October, to get acquainted with the installations and tests offered by the Centre's laboratories.

The purpose of the visit was to carry out an initial inspection of the Centre's laboratories in order to point out adaptation needs which will enable them to get SATRA approval of CTCCA as its representative in Latin-America. CTCCA certification by SATRA should be confirmed before the end of the current year and would guarantee the quality of Brazilian products tested and approved there, making their export and sale easier around the world.
