Polish military boot producer suffers third quarter loss of $1 million

Poland’s leading military and work footwear manufacturer, Lublin-based Protektor, is said to have suffered losses in excess of $1 million during the first nine months of 2001. The management of the Warsaw stock exchange listed company is said to blame poor demand from both domestic and export markets.
