During the summer holidays, machinery from sister company, Rijen-based Fintech Leather Finishing, was moved to Finilux’s 70,000 sq. ft. site in Waalwijk, Holland, to be added to the company’s existing facilities.

The combination of the two companies (both members of the Wendel Leather Group), will work under the name ‘Finilux’ as a contract finisher for automotive, furniture, footwear and leathergoods.

With a capacity of 2,500 hides per day, Finilux’s main service is to provide leather traders and tanners with supplemental finishing capacity. The company’s new management team is formed by Managing Director Hans Wendel and Technical Directors Kees der Eerden and Rene van Dongen.
