Michell Australia appoints new managing director

One of Australia’s largest wool and leather processors, Michell Australia, has announced the appointment of Mr Andrew Thomas as Managing Director.
Mr Thomas is one of Australia’s most prominent wool industry figures, and has been involved with the Michell group for more than 40 years. He succeeds Mr Colin King, who held the position of Managing Director for the past two years. Before joining the Michell Board in April 1998, Mr Thomas was Chief Executive of Michell’s wool division, and was responsible for the direction of the commercial and manufacturing operations of the company’s global wool business.
