After two reorganisations in the last 12 months, Finilux Leather Finishing (the former Scil Leather Finishing) has now arrived at its final form and structure.

During the summer holidays, machinery from sister company, Rijen-based Fintech Leather Finishing, was moved to Finilux’s 70,000 sq. ft. site in Waalwijk, Holland, to be added to the company’s existing facilities.

The combination of the two companies (both members of the Wendel Leather Group), will work under the name ‘Finilux’ as a contract finisher for automotive, furniture, footwear and leathergoods.

With a capacity of 2,500 hides per day, Finilux’s main service is to provide additional finishing capacity to leather traders and tanners on a temporary basis. The company’s new management team is formed by Managing Director, Hans Wendel and Kees der Eerden and Rene van Dongen as Technical Directors.
