Schoeller launches second generation textiles
Swiss firm Schoeller has released its next generation of ComforTemp textiles that mimic features of other materials such as leather and denim. The company claims the new range has the same high functionality but with greater flexibility and breathability than the first generation, as well as a lighter weight.
The new ComforTemp range includes aged-look fabrics with cotton and fine glitter particles, PA/CO/PU blends with a tangible paper feel, and leather-look textiles with special surface finishes, which, say the company, are indistinguishable from the real thing. There are also striking patterns such as 3-D effect carbon looks, denim/fake fur or sheen/towelling combinations, special denim coatings and combinations with metal, cotton, silk and Kevlar, and technical protective fabrics for trimmings accessories and shoes.
