BASF to ‘Keep On Moving’ at Tanning Tech

08/10/2001

An emphasis on processes as opposed to products, and a focus on shoe upper and automotive leathers: these will be the main themes of BASF’s presentation at this year’s Tanning Tech (Stand B20, Hall 34).

Under the banner ‘Keep on Moving’, the company will be fielding its full team of leather chemicals experts at the exhibition. It will also be encouraging visitors to share their process problems, so that precisely the right combination of products for each process can quickly and easily be determined.

Visitors with a particular interest in shoe upper will be able to see the Color PAC Brown system - a selection of dyes that can be used to match the most common shades of brown. The system consists of five dyes: Lurazol® Brown N3G, Luganil® Brown NGB, Luganil Brown MFR, Luganil Brown RL and Lurazol Black MRN New. According to BASF, the dyes offer a simple, quick and economical means of dyeing leather to attractive, long-lasting brown shades.
