ALCA, the American Leather Chemists Association, has renamed its Prize Paper Award the Dr. Robert M. Lollar Prize Paper Award. The renaming is to honour the memory of Dr. Lollar for the extensive fundamental and environmental research that he conducted during his lengthy and distinguished career, as well as his lobbying efforts on behalf of the industry. The award is sponsored by ALCA and the Foundation of the Leather Research Laboratory of the University of Cincinnati.
