German leather institute appoints new head of technology

Gerhard Moog, head of the college tannery and teacher for leather technology, retired after 27 years at Lederinstitut Gerberschule Reutlingen (LGR) at the end of July. His successor is Stefan Banaszakt who has worked as Mr Moog’s deputy since 1993. LGR has also announced the appointment of Karl Unmuth, a specialist in leather finishing, who had worked for Clariant, Germany.
