Asics establishes manufacturing foothold in Brazil

In order to keep pace with expanding local demand, the athletic footwear producer Asics has opened a new footwear, apparel and accessory production and distribution centre in Brazil.

Located in the city of Parobe, the centre has been set up in partnership with the Brazilian footwear manufacturer Azaleia – the world’s fifth largest producer whose shoes are sold in over 60 different countries.  Under the partnership agreement, Azaleia will handle all ASIC’s manufacturing and distribution needs in the Brazilian marketplace.
