US footwear foundation pledges help for terror attack survivors
The US Two/Ten Foundation has asked for assistance in identifying footwear and related industry workers caught up in the September 11 terrorist attacks, so that it can extend its help to affected families.

Founded at 210 Lincoln Street in the historic shoe and leather district of Boston, the Two/Ten International Footwear Foundation was created in response to the suffering of footwear industry members during the Great Depression of the 1930s. Today, the foundation is the world’s largest footwear association and the only industry-based institution of its kind, providing more than $1.6 million in charitable funds and services each year to families.
