Leather lines take the lead for UK furniture manufacturer

24/09/2001

The UK furniture maker Collins and Hayes has advised that its leather covered products accounted for 50% of turnover in the six month period on July 31 2001, as opposed to 35% last year. Its leather furniture also generated higher sales prices than its fabric covered lines.

The figures were reported as part of the company’s interim results for the year, which were the first since the company’s demerger from Aquarius Group at the end of July and its flotation on the UK Alternative Investment Market (AIM).
