Poland lifts ban on European hides

The Polish Veterinarian Office last week lifted its ban on imports of (among others) raw/wet salted hides from Ireland, France and Holland. The ban was prompted by the foot and mouth outbreak affecting Western Europe and has also been lifted with regard to goat and pigskins. The ban on live animals from those countries, however, remains in place.
