Bangladesh increases exports to UAE

Exports from Bangladesh to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have increased 83.72 per cent over the last 12 months, according to Bangladesh's commercial representative in Dubai.
Leather and leather goods were among the main items exported, along with textiles, garments, silk fabrics, jute and jute goods.
The increase was helped by Bangladesh's participation in the Dubai Shopping Festival where eighteen Bangladeshi manufacturers and exporters took part.
