Atlas becomes sole North American agent for DuPont Teflon
The chemicals producer, Atlas Refinery, Inc. of Newark, New Jersey, reports that it has been appointed the exclusive North American distributor for DuPont’s branded Teflon stain protection for leather.
Under the arrangement, Atlas will distribute DuPont’s ‘Zonyl 602’ product while assisting in the promotion of the Teflon brand generally. It will also assist in DuPont’s branded license program and carry out mandatory quality assurance testing for branded leathers.
Zonyl 602 is a water-based finish that allows the leather to maintain its desired qualities such as appearance, colour, and surface touch by providing water repellence and protecting against spills and stains. It is also resistant to interactions with other chemicals.
