Rogers adds dual layer footwear foam to Poron range
Rogers Corporation has announced a new addition to its range of ‘Poron’ performance urethanes for footwear and apparel applications.
‘Poron’ Dual Layer foam that is said by the company to offer the utmost in high-tech comfort and performance. The technology casts two distinct urethane formulations together without the use of adhesives. The top layer conforms to the foot offering customised comfort while the bottom layer absorbs impacts. The complete package offers evenly distributed pressure for more comfort.
Poron microcellular urethane materials, which are open cell, have unique characteristics that make them compatible with a broad spectrum of footwear applications, Rogers says. These applications include insoles, tongue padding, collar cushions, ankle pads, cushion counters and rugged, shock-absorbing footbeds.
