The Autumn International Leather Goods Fair that took place in Offenbach, Germany from August 25-27 was a complete success, according to the organisers of the event. The stands were fully booked, with 254 exhibitors presenting their latest leather goods representing 24 different countries.

Over 5,000 people visited the fair with an increased proportion coming from abroad. There was a definite increase in brand orientation, the organisers say, leaving even less room for the non-branded products.

The next events in Offenbach are the 39th International Modeforum Offenbach on October 20-22 (bags and handbags) and the Spring International Leather Goods Fair, which will take place at the slightly earlier than usual date of January 26-28, 2002.
