National Geographic™ has developed a new range of outdoor gear inspired by the lifestyle of the National Geographic explorers and photographers. The collection includes exploration-based footwear, luggage, daypacks, packable raingear, socks and t-shirts.

The footwear items are for men and women and include functional elements such as waterproof leather uppers, dual air sock liners, polyurethane midsoles and high abrasion rubber outsoles. The luggage and backpacks are designed for quality, strength and support, with materials that include ballistic nylon and rip-stop polyester. The socks have subtle patterns of maps, compasses, fossils and the galaxy, and are made of cotton and cotton blends.
