Chinese leather helps Richina Pacific to register profit rise

New Zealand investment company Richina Pacific reported Tuesday (21 August) a massive rise in its half-year figures thanks mainly to its Chinese leather operation. Net profit for Richina was $7.03 million, up from $2.04 million last year. The company said that revenue from the Chinese leather business had more than doubled to $107.5 million in the same period.
