Paris exhibition has designs on tomorrow’s leather talent

Seeking to play a bigger role in promoting up and coming leather design talent, the organisers of this October’s Le Cuir à Paris, Sic Group, have set aside a special area at the exhibition for young designers. Except for a Eur90 application fee, the space is provided free of charge, with each successful applicant being allocated a 6 square metre stand.
The initiative is open to stylists, designers, students, associations and fashion schools. Entries can be submitted as drawings, layouts, models, prototype or even finished products.
The deadline for submissions to SIC Group in Paris is September 10 and all portfolios must be received by September 17.
