Mark Kane has been appointed director of running for Fila USA. He will be responsible for managing the running category in the US market. Steve Ave has been named sports marketing manager, running, and will manage Fila's relationships with US athletes and event sponsorships. Ave, a former sub-4 minute miler and 3-time Olympic trials qualifier, will also work with Dr. Gabriele Rosa, Fila’s global head of running sports marketing, to oversee the operations of the Discovery USA programme which helps nurture American athletes.
