New Fila running shoe by Pininfarina
Fila has launched a new high performance running shoe designed by Pininfarina. The shoe, which combines Fila's expertise in footwear production with Pininfarina’s world-renowned design flair, takes its inspiration from the characteristics of the sports car world. A single frame is made of a medial and lateral preformed quarter in synthetic leather to give stability, with the shoe’s upper is finished with a soft breathable mesh fabric.
Inside, padded synthetic leather lateral inserts are incorporated for an easy fit, whilst breathable reinforced grips give enhanced overall support to the foot. The midsole uses Speed Tech® technology, a system patented by Fila that combines the elasticity of carbon fibres with the durability of Kevlar®, with the overall use of high end materials in the construction of the shoe helping to ensure total comfort. The sole is composed of Evergrind, a durable anti-abrasive carbon rubber that is highly resistant to abrasions, and the outsole has grooves in the front impact area to allow the foot to move in a more natural way. The shoe is available in both men’s and women’s sizing.
