Eckart Stein appointed as head of BASF Curtex and Business Unit Leather Europe

Eckart Stein has been named as the head of BASF Curtex S.A. and the regional business unit Performance Chemicals for Leather - Europe. He replaces Lorenzo Vila, who died in June. Mr Stein is 35 and has been with BASF for 9 years. He will assume his new position at the beginning of September this year.
