Austrian leather producer sees 21% rise in business in 2000/2001

The Austrian leather producer Wollsdorf Leder has reported a 21% increase in business during 2000/2001, with total turnover coming in at Sch988 million ($64 million).
The European automotive sector accounted for 70% of business, with the remainder being split between the aeronautical and furniture sectors. 97% of the company’s daily output of 1700 hides went for export.
