Geronimo's leather pouch is one of the highlights of a museum exhibition in Arizona, USA about the use of leather through the ages, called: "From Pocket to Purse: Hand in Hand With Fashion".

The Apache Chief would have kept tinder, flint, medicines and personal items in his leather pouch - a far cry from the contents of today's leather handbags. The collection includes 100 unique purses from the 1880s through the 1950s, is free to the public, and opens on August 10.
