China’s textile and leather industry continues to grow

China’s National Bureau of Statistics has released figures concerning the textile industry for the first five months of the year. Leather, fur, down and other products recorded a rise of 14.4% in sales income while profit was up 9.24%. The number of people working in the sector was up 4.81%.
