Figures released by the Netherlands’s Central Bureau of Statistics last week show that industrial sales of leather and textile goods and machinery were 6% down year-on-year during May.

Industrial sales generally were unchanged compared to the year earlier period, despite a 4% price rise.  In the first five months of this year, industrial sales increased 4% from the year-earlier period.
