Safety standard for Scottish leather tanner

NCT Leather Limited, part of the Scottish Tanning Industries group of companies, has advised of its certification to the BSI Health and Safety Management Standard BSI OHSAS 18001.
The company says that with the certification, it now possesses the three main international standards for quality, environmental and health and safety management systems - the other two being the BS EN ISO 14001 (environment) and the Quality Assurance standard BS EN ISO 9002.
William Lindsay, who is responsible for the implementation and operation of standards at the tannery says he intends to operate them as one fully integrated system.
