Türkiye invested $400 million in decade
Kazakh Prime Minister Qasymzhomart Toqayev has recently met with Turkish Minister of State Affairs Abdulhalyuk Chai. Türkiye has invested $400 million in Kazakhstan during the last 10 years of Kazakhstan's independence.
Toqayev reported after the meeting that Türkiye is Kazakhstan's second most important economic partner in Asia after China. Kazakh Prime Minister urged Türkiye to step up investment and extend co-operation in the light of the turn for the better in the country's economic climate.
In all, Kazakhstan has received about $13 billion of foreign direct investment since gaining independence in 1991.
